Agnes Verboven is born in Belgium and still lives there. Books are very important in her life and when she has children of her own, children's books are all around the place. Her passion brings her to writing for the youngest children and to become a publisher of children's books. Several of her books are published in different languages.

Lida Varvarousi is born in Greece where she lives as an author and illustrator. In Greece, she is very well known for the many picture books she writes and illustrates. With her 'Painttellings', she brings art and stories into children's lives. She loves children and brings the best out of them.

Serendipity brought Agnes and Lida together. They share a lot of passion for books and all the good things that matter to children.
