Summoned by the traditions of his forefathers, a lonely traveler arrives at the isolated, snow-covered fishing village of Kingsport, Massachusetts, for the Yuletide celebration. But what lies beneath the church is a nightmare that defies human reason. Led down into the subterranean depths of the earth, the traveler is forced to witness a blasphemous, prehistoric ritual dedicated to entities that ruled the world long before the dawn of man. Amidst a sea of pale, unholy flames and the rhythmic chanting of things that never should have lived, he realizes that his family line is bound to a cosmic horror from which there is no escape.
